Bactiquick is a handheld device that screens for endotoxin risk — a marker released by Gram-negative bacteria — in around 15 minutes, right where the water sample is taken. No lab, no courier, no days of waiting for results: just a fast, reliable read on risk so you know when to act, and when a sample needs full laboratory confirmation.
The science behind it
The technology has been validated by Campden BRI and developed from University of Plymouth research, with results published in three peer-reviewed journals. The handheld reader weighs just 226g and runs on a rechargeable battery good for around 10 tests per charge, so it performs consistently whether you're in the field or in a lab.
